Master students
The starting point of the Master in Public Policy (MPP) programme is to stimulate students to gain an understanding of how public policy can be dealt with in the most effective and efficient way.
The Master students of the Maastricht Graduate School and Governance come from more than 50 different nationalities. Many of them come from various developing countries. The programme serves various groups of students, ranging from bachelor students to mid-career professionals. In this one-year programme, students are trained in formulating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating policy in order to be able to give recommendations for improving or replacing ongoing policies in various areas such as Globalisation, Trade and Development, Public Health, and Sustainable Development. Students are provided with a variety of skills, tools and knowledge, which enables them to work as policy designers and policy analysts in public and private institutions. To guarantee high quality in an international environment, the School cooperatse with the faculties of Maastricht University, partner universities and international organizations. For master students with less sophisticated background knowledge in economics, we organize summer courses in which the students knowledge can be freshed up. The diversity of the program and its international population warrant a nice experience. Our master students can choose to graduate within the following tracks:
- Social Policy Financing (in cooperation with the ILO)
- Social Policy Design (in cooperation with the ILO) - Globalisation, Trade and Development - Public Health - Sustainable Development More on the Master programmes that are offered at the School. |
