The research fellows and the senior research staff members at the School are involved a large number of short- and medium- term research projects in rich and poor countries.
We realize that within the theme of "governance", semi-private, private and non-governmental organisations are becoming increasingly important in all levels of policy processes. In a globalising world with fast changing demands, we therefore believe it is vital that experts operating within these policymaking organisations have to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in their respective fields. As a graduate school we want to offer both national and international organisations the opportunity to develop and train the specific capacities needed for professionals within the governance theme. At the moment, the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance works on several different tailor-made projects. These projects are all personalized to the specific needs and are set in a specific time frame of the participating professionals. In many projects, depending on the needs, we provide in-depth knowledge from a multi-level perspective from leading experts complemented by integrated skills trainings. The tailor-made projects will prepare specialists to interact with (analyse, monitor, evaluate and implement) decision-making processes in a continuous transforming society. More information on our current projects can be found here. |
